My sculptures explore themes of transformation, protection, and the unconscious self. Central to my work is the recurring image of a woman enclosed in an egg-shaped form—she is asleep, unaware, and deeply safe. This figure exists in a space between being and becoming, held within a shell that suggests both vulnerability and strength. The egg, a timeless symbol in art and mythology, represents origin, creation, and potential. For me, it is also a metaphor for the inner world—a space of stillness and introspection where growth begins in silence.

The female form within the egg embodies the sacred feminine, not in action, but in rest—a state of surrender that holds the promise of awakening. In shaping these forms, I aim to create a sense of calm and unity. The smooth, organic contours of the sculpture reflect the quiet intimacy of the enclosed figure. She is untouched by the outside world, held in a moment of suspended time—a reminder of the human need for refuge, for inner retreat, and for the quiet power of transformation that begins in stillness.

Through this work, I invite viewers to reflect on their own inner landscapes—to see the egg not only as a symbol of life’s beginning, but as a sanctuary for the self in its most essential, unguarded state.
